Hello! It's been a long time since I last updated this site. Unfortunately, I've been struggling a lot with my mental health. I stopped taking my medications for a while which, surprise, didn't help! I've also been looking for work and thinking of going back to school but not sure what I want to do. I'd like a low stress job that doesn't require too much social interaction. I don't really care if the pay is low. Several years ago I volunteered at a library, sorting and shelving books and setting up library events. I think that was the happiest I've ever been. I've applied for a few library clerk jobs since then but they mostly seem to be temporary positions for students. When I was younger I really wanted to work as an archivist but apparently it's hard to find work in that field. I don't know. Sorry for the little ramble!
Anyway, a few months ago I redesigned my site and tried to simplify the code a bit. I increased the colour contrast and changed the navigation to a navbar with dropdowns, similar to what I used to have a couple years ago. This would give me more space to add links. I never ended up updating the actual site, though, because I wasn't sure I liked the new design in the end. Here are some screenshots, let me know what you think and if I should keep the current layout or change it.
